In Seoul and Gyeonggi, South Korea, An, Yongse is a teaching artist in the field of theatre and drama, a researcher in educational development, and the arts director of the Touchable Story Series.
As an arts educator and researcher, An, Yongse explores ways in which arts can contribute to society. He studied theatre at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, focusing on drama education and audience participation theatre, such as Forum Theatre, T.I.E., and Applied Theatre. He also studied qualitative research methodology at the Seoul National University of Education. In addition, he has conducted international research for the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service (KACES).
